The Great British Celebration!

Our annual major event, to be held at the Palais de l’Europe, 12midday.

A change in procedure this year. This event will be a jolly, humorous, tongue in cheek celebration of all things British. (We need a boost!)

Enjoy our annual unbeatable, very splendid all-inclusive lunch, an amusing chat by a well-known best-selling British author, a live debut album performance, by a British songwriter living in France and  live music and song, both traditional and modern.

Maybe some of you would like to dress up? If so, we shall offer a prize for the best costume, but it’s not compulsory.

BA Menton Luncheon - Indian Delices

Dear Members,

The February lunch needs to be earlier than usual as La Fête du Citron starts on the 14th.

So I have organised it for Thursday 12th February and I would like to suggest an Indian meal for a change.

The venue is The Indian Délices, 10 Avenue Thiers, Menton.

The price is €37 for Members and €40 for non-members.

Menu

Apéritif

Cocktail : Gin with lichi and rose

or Vodka with mango and rose

Starter

Pakkara aux Aubergines (eggplant fritters in chickpeas flour)

Main Course

Poulet Tikka Masala (chicken in curry yoghurt sauce with saffron cream)

or

Saag Paneer (spinach sautéed in curry sauce with Paneer (Indian cheese) coconut milk cream)

All above with rice and naans on the side.

Dessert

Lemon Cheesecake.

Our Christmas Event on 23. December 2025 is now fully booked. Pre-payment please of 105€ all inclusive per person. Some of you have already paid. Many thanks.

These big events are always partly subsidised by our association.

I have hired a coach, which leaves Menton at 12:30pm from the Casino.

Lunch will be at the “BOLINAS RESTAURANT” MARRIOTT RIVIERA HOTEL, Monaco

CHRISTMAS EVENT BRITISH ASSOCIATION DE MENTON, TUESDAY 23. DECEMBER, MONACO

Ho Ho Ho, Dear Members,

This year, I have found a different venue for our Christmas event.

The Principality will be hosting a Christmas Show, in the spectacular Fontvielle Big Top, titled “Monaco sou les Etoiles,”  organised by Monaco Live Productions, under the Patronage of HSH Princess Charlene. Directed by Hassan El Hajjami, the show will blend dance, poetry and storytelling, in a fantasy world brought to life by international artists.

I have procured 25 tickets!!! The show begins at 4pm

I am arranging transport by coach to the event, departing Menton at 12:15pm  returning to Menton,17:30pm

Lunch will be held at the Riviera Marriot Hotel,1pm, a short walk from the chapiteau.

A glass of Prosecco will set the mood, followed by wine, water and coffee

You will have a choice of starter and a main course of fish or meat, followed by dessert. Details forthcoming at the weekend.

I have organised a private coach. Lunch at the MARRIOT at 1pm. It is only a short walk from the MARRIOT to the Chapiteau. The coach will be waiting for us after the show at 5:30pm

The all-inclusive cost will be 105€ per person.

I have only a few places left. First come, first served !
